WHY CHOOSE RUSHCLIFFE? Without question, Rushcliffe is one of the most delightful courses set in the Nottinghamshire/ Leicestershire countryside. It is often described as the 'hidden gem' in Midland golf. Built on beautiful mature parkland, each hole has its own setting and its own challenges to the golfer. With slightly rolling fairways and stunning surrounds, The Rushcliffe Golf Club offers the member a wonderful golf course for you to enjoy your leisure time. The course measures 6,009 yards from the competition tees (white). There are additional tees for: Everyday play (yellow); Ladies (red) and Juniors (blue). We are currently building Tournament tees (green) for major competitions. There are three practice areas to 'hone' your skills. The main practice ground measures 270 yards long with an undercover area for when it's wet. There is a pitching and chipping area with three bunkers which is sculptured to reflect the greens on the course and a putting green set at the front of the Clubhouse overlooking the course. We also have two warm-up nets. The Clubhouse offers a bar with relaxed lounge and dining areas and extensive daily catering. A large seated patio area enables you to enjoy the picturesque views of the course while soaking up the summer evening sun. There are two snooker tables for members only, a separate room available for small business meetings, male and female locker rooms with showering facilities and a separate room for the juniors complete with modern lockers. We also operate secured parking. During the season we hold three medal play competitions every month, together with numerous club trophies and knockout events. There are very active ladies, seniors and mixed sections that play regularly. The junior section holds numerous competitions together with a 'Junior Club Night' run on Thursday evenings throughout the summer.
